Window Tinter/Trade assistant

We’re currently seeking a driven individual that has a basic to intermediate understanding of mechanical knowledge to join our team as a Trade Assistant. This role provides support to our mechanical tradespeople and wider workshop based team to ensure our high standards in maintaining and upkeeping our fleet are consistently met. Your main duties will include:Removal and fitment of Window Film Tint to vehiclesApplying Decals and undertaking other project activities as requiredPerforming minor repairs and service of vehicles and equipment, in a timely manner, within your skill level and experience under the supervision of a qualified tradespersonMoving buses within the yard, parking and refuelling themPick-up and delivery of parts and other objects as required by the Workshop Supervisor or Leading HandGeneral yard/workshop cleaning and maintenanceStore duties as and when required by the supervisorPerforming other general, non-trades services as directedAdhering to all Work, Health & Safety requirements whilst performing work dutiesMaintaining clean workshop practicesMaintaining and performing all workshop practices in a manner that adheres to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations Our workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.You can expect to be provided with all necessary training, this will include relevant information about our various makes and models of vehicles to ensure a thorough understanding of standards required to meet contract obligations.About Us: At Busways, our core focus is on quality customer service, stakeholder engagement and employee development.
